Specialised Range

Horizontal Solid Slatted roller shutters are constructed from galvanised steel slats. They move horizontally over a factory floor to open up or seal off the floor below.

  • When mill finished, all steel components are wet sprayed for maximum corrosion resistance

  • Feature aluminium T-sections encompassing a rubber weather seal strip to resist weathering

  • Operated using two motors, one on either end of the horizontal roller shutter
  • One motor operates the drive shaft
  • The second motor is positioned at the bottom end of the door and is connected with cables to two pulleys, which are driven by this motor to close the door

Horizontal roller shutters are available in the following finishes:

  • Mill finished
  • Powder coated in one of 16 UV / Non UV resistant polyester / epoxy colour options. Roll-Up Serranda is the only factory of its kind in the country with its own state-of-the-art powder coating plant.
  • Fully galvanised
  • Wet spraying of all components to protect against corrosion

Material

Galvanised steel slats in 75mm x 0.6mm/0.8mm/1.0mm thick, depending on the opening.
